Using a holster is a key step in progressing your shooting abilities. Holsters allow courses to be taught “downrange” which opens up a plethora of training opportunities. However, learning to shoot from a holster, or even deciding what equipment to purchase, is often a big barrier for many students.

This is an introductory course designed to help students navigate the various equipment options and to familiarize students with shooting from a holster. Topics will include discussion on types of holsters, including demonstrations and recommendations, as well as dry fire practice of the draw stroke using our provided firearms and Laser Ammo training tools. 

Required Equipment:

• Sturdy pants (jeans/work/tactical pants recommended) with belt loops
• Belt capable of fitting and supporting a holster

Location:

Guns, Fishing, & Other Stuff Range. Range entrance is at the side of the building.
